OUR HISTORY

Deryl Goldenberg, Psychologist and Clinical Director of Verdugo Counseling Center, has
been in practice for over 25 years. His dedication and passion for helping individuals, families and couples has resulted in the creation of this center.

Dr. Goldenberg and his colleagues, Dr. Orkideh Csukay and Dr. Shadi Shirazi, have been working together with children and parents for the past 8 years. Over the years, they realized that there were few resources for parents to help them address their personal issues while raising an emotionally or neurologically impacted child. Verdugo Counseling Center staff have put their talents together and built this specialized counseling practice to serve these families.

their families.
